After reading about their awsome potatoes cakes on Facebook weeks ago, I miraculously happened to have driven past and saw the shop amd said WTF!! I couldnt believe it and I had to pull over a try, and mate was I glad I did, my meal was perfect absolutely perfect, the massive hand made p/cakes are perfect along with my flake, nothing was too oily it was just right, I wasn't even hungry and I couldn't stop eating, 2 fried dimmies, 2 p/cakes , flake a chips all went down a treat thank you. Oh actually thank u for the 3rd p/cake . Will be back!

Remember how fish n chips were in rhe 70s-90s? Well this place was a fantastic walk down memory lane for their fish n chips!! I ordered their "Single pack" which has a piece of flake,1 dimmy,1 potato cake,chips and a can of drink for only $14. I asked if I could swap the chips for potato cakes and the very friendly boss said "sure no problem" and WOW did he look after me, he added an extra 3-4 potato cakes!! Their potato cakes are huge and fresh made!! Their oil is clean as everything was thst nice golden yellow colour. The flake was beautiful and here's the best bit, they don't use cardboard boxes then paper. It's all rolled up in paper like everyone e used to love!! This place is a definite gem in Werribee and you won't be disappointed after you have been. Great work, even greater food and VALUE !!

Racecourse Fish and Chips saved my night! On a hot evening, craving for some classic fish and chips, I almost gave up finding an open place. After a bit of driving around and a quick search on Google Maps, I stumbled upon this gem. And let me tell you, it was worth the search! The food was exactly how fish and chips should be—crispy, flavorful, and satisfying. The staff were incredibly friendly, adding to the overall great experience. I highly recommend Racecourse Fish and Chips to anyone looking for a fantastic meal. Follow me for more reviews, and trust me, you won't regret trying this place out!
